- List common industrial material, laser pre-and-post processing, and additive
- List commonly used quality control test equipment
- Find and apply the quality improvement recipe by analyzing the lasing mechanism
- Find and apply cycle time improvement point by understanding the performance limits
- List common laser equipment trouble shooting actions
Requirements
- General technical grounding and experience of CNC if equipment configuration applicable
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System
- Basic understanding of CAD drawings and raster images if applicable

- Introduction to the laser source, beam delivery design, wavelength absorption of the workpiece material
- Introduction to the common equipment testing methods
- Introduction to workpiece substrate material and common surface treatment
- Introduction to laser power density and energy density influence processing quality
